Optimizing Wi-Fi 6 and 6E for VR

Wireless PCVR requires a rock-solid network connection to deliver a smooth, low-latency experience. Wi-Fi 6 and the newer Wi-Fi 6E standard are game-changers for wireless streaming, offering higher bandwidth and reduced interference. To optimize your setup, ensure your PC is connected to your router via a high-quality Ethernet cable and that your VR headset is the only device on the 5GHz or 6GHz band. Position your router in the same room as your play space and use a dedicated SSID for your VR connection. Fine-tuning your channel width and choosing a non-congested channel can significantly reduce stutters and provide a tether-like experience without the cables.
