Razer Hydra Review

The Razer Hydra is a piece of VR history. Released well before the modern wave of VR headsets, it provided motion control for PC games using a magnetic base station and two wired controllers. While it has been largely superseded by modern optical and inside-out tracking systems, it paved the way for the motion-controlled experiences we enjoy today. Some enthusiasts still use the Hydra for specific legacy applications or experimental setups, but it remains a fascinating look at the early days of consumer VR input.
